Recently, she served as Director of Community Outreach for the Right and Honorable Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett, connecting residents to county services.

Now running for State Representative District 4, Larsosa is committed to policies that strengthen families and expand opportunity in Detroit. Her priorities are outlined through the is an acronym S.H.I.E.L.D. agenda:

S — Supporting Seniors
Ensuring seniors have access to the services, healthcare, and support they need to age with dignity.

H — Hope Zones (Economic Development)
Creating pathways for neighborhood entrepreneurs by supporting pop-up markets, small vendors, and local business start-ups so Detroiters can turn their talents and ideas into real income and generational wealth.

I — Investing in Families (Housing & stability)
Investing in families through affordable housing, pathways to homeownership, and neighborhood development so Detroit families can build stability and generational wealth.

E — Education Funding (Equity)
Fighting for equitable school funding so Detroit students receive the same resources and high-quality education as every child across Michigan.

L — Livable Wages
Supporting policies that help residents access livable wages through entrepreneurship, skilled trades, apprenticeships, and small business opportunities like pop-up shops.

D- District Public Safety
Strengthening public safety by fully funding community violence intervention and supporting neighborhood partnerships that keep District 4 families and communities safe.

Grounded in her experience as a community advocate, mother, and leader, Larsosa believes strong families, thriving local businesses, and equitable public policy are the keys to building a Detroit and Michigan where every generation has the opportunity to thrive.
